Allow us to introduce you to Stéphane Lionel Chénier IV, otherwise known as Leo IV. Leo IV is a 22 year old artist originally from Timmins, Ontario, and is currently based in Toronto, Ontario. His passion for music started at a fairly young age, he was 9 when his love for music began. It was his cousin, April, who showed him some songs she was writing while also introducing him to various bands. It was this, that made him realize how therapeutic making music truly is. From here, his passion for music grew into something much larger. He started working alongside some of his best friends to create, invest, and explore music; these artists are Preston Pablo, pablø, o a k $, and rika bankks, just to name a few.
If you are into alternative rock, hip-hop, or rap, you have found the right artist. Leo IV’s music is very diverse and his most recent single titled ‘i know i don’t say it much’ is streaming on all platforms. This track was inspired by his relationship with his girlfriend who has become a huge part of his career and his passion for music. Not to get too sentimental, but this single was a gift for their 2 year anniversary, make sure you check out!
So, what is next for Leo IV? He currently has a few songs locked away in his fault, some singles, some features. He is looking to take his career to the next level by releasing his next EP which will feature some new music and a music video; release date for this is late 2021, or early 2022. Leo IV is about to do some big things, so make sure to keep him on your radar!
