Kaasim is a breakout artist based out of Atlanta, GA. Originally from Boston, MA the same area that New Edition is from. His family owned a record store when he was growing up that got him constantly surrounded by music. This store was the first to sell New Edition’s songs. He had the opportunity to meet, Biggie, TLC, Busta Rhymes and Tweet. With all of this inspiration around him, it was his grandmother that really got him started. She has been his biggest fan from the start. He started off in a Christmas play, where he met his first music mentor, Elma Lewis.
